Saturday we went in for an ultrasound to get a size and number count of follicles; we had 2 total, one on each side; 17.25 on the right and 11.5 on the left. The nurse suggested that we go ahead with a trigger shot right then and come back on Sunday for an IUI...the trigger shot caused forces ovulation on Sunday as opposed to waiting for potential ovulation on Monday. So, Sunday at 12:00PM the IUI was completed. Russ's "specimen" was beyond perfect this time, a dramatic increase in value since the last cycle. Due to the trigger shot my cervix and ovaries were as good as could possibly be expected. So, all in all, we have the best chance yet. Today I am crampy and bloated, which make "trying not to think about it" a bit hard!
Testing to take place in 14 days!
